As if we didn’t do enough drinking during our respective 4th of July festivities, with our voices and brains lubed up with wine and beer, the Cast of Dads convened Tuesday night to record Episode #26 titled “From Snips to Squirt“. Before I dive down into the meat (literally) of the podcast, I want to remind people to be sure to give us some ratings on iTunes. We are definitely gaining reader/listener-ship of the podcast, but we need YOUR HELP in making it better. Leave comments on our respective blog posts (CC Chapman, Brad Powell, Jeff Sass & Max Kalehoff), on the Cast of Dads site, and in iTunes. We definitely appreciate any and all feedback (oh…and we are always on the never-ending quest for sponsors too).

I truly celebrated “Independence Day” as “the wife” and I had dropped off our kids for a 3-day overnight at grandma’s house. For us, it was independence from the kids. I got a bit of grief from the other dads around the cultural aspect of our free time, but we definitely had a lot of fun not playing goal-keeper for our 3 daughters. For more on what I did on the 4th as well as the other dads, listen to the podcast!
