Learn about the Naztech AURA 360 Active Noise Canceling headphones. This review and video goes into the features and performance of these ANC headphones.

If you’re like me, you probably spend a lot of time surrounded by noise—whether it’s the hum of a busy office, the loud rumbling of a commuter train, or even the relentless scream of a leaf blower outside your window. Wouldn’t it be nice if you could push a button and make all that noise disappear? In this article, I review a product that promises to do just that: the Naztech AURA 360 Active Noise-Canceling Headphones. (*Disclosure below)

Finding a moment of peace and, more importantly, quiet can be challenging. Being able to listen to relaxing or energizing music or just your own thoughts has become harder and harder to do because of all the visual and audio distractions around you. And while these Naztech ANC headphones can’t help with the video side of things, they can help to eliminate noises around you, allowing you to focus on what you are truly listening to.

That’s why I was thrilled to get my hands on (or better said, get my ears under) the Naztech AURA 360, a pair of active noise-canceling headphones. Are these headphones a must-have for anyone looking to escape the noise and immerse themselves in high-quality audio? Also, I am offering a 10% off coupon later in this review. Video review and unboxing of the Naztech AURA 360 headphones

While I encourage you to read some of the details (remember, reading is really good for the brain), I also put together a “short” video review that covers many of the features you get with these ANC headphones. There is a Chapters section on the YouTube page if you want to jump directly to a particular part of the video that interests you. Learn about what’s in the box, the features, what ANC really is, the fact that you can pair with two devices simultaneously, and a whole lot more.

If you have any questions about things you saw in the video, please leave a comment on this article or my YouTube review.

Let’s look at some of the items I highlighted in the video.

Initial impressions of the Naztech AURA 360

First impressions matter, and the Naztech AURA 360 doesn’t disappoint. The design is both modern and functional, featuring a slim profile and over-the-ear design that ensures comfort during extended use. These headphones come in three color options: Midnight (the ones I received), Moondust, and Vintage (which definitely has a retro look).

In the box, you’ll find the headphones, a carrying pouch, a USB-C charging cable, and a 3.5mm aux cable. The carrying pouch is a nice touch, made of a soft, velvet-like material that adds a premium feel.

The headband that goes over your head is padded, making it extremely comfortable. Even better is the over-the-ear padding. The actual headphone speakers do not touch your ears, only the memory foam padding around them. This allows for extended listening time in comfort.

I’ve worn these headphones for hours without any discomfort, which is a big plus in my book.

Setting up the Naztech AURA 360

Setting up the Naztech AURA 360 is a breeze. The headphones come partially charged so you can use them right out of the box. However, it is recommended that you charge them fully before using them. Pairing them with my devices was straightforward, and the voice prompts make it easy to know when you’re in pairing mode or switching between noise-canceling modes.

An important feature to note is that you can pair the Naztech AURA 360 headphones with two devices simultaneously, meaning they can be connected to two devices at the same time. There is a bit of a trick to set them up (pair with the first, disconnect from it and turn off BT, pair with the second, reconnect with the first).

The controls are intuitive, with buttons for volume adjustment, play/pause, and switching between noise-canceling modes. The voice prompts are a nice touch, providing clear feedback on what mode you’re in.

Key Features

Here are a few of the key features that jumped out at me after using these Naztechs for a few days:

  • 24-Hour Active Noise-Canceling: This is the standout feature. The headphones use advanced technology to listen for ambient noise and generate an opposite waveform to cancel it out. Whether you’re on a plane or a train or just trying to concentrate at home, the Naztech AURA 360 has you covered.
  • Multiple Modes: The headphones offer several modes, including full active noise-canceling, transparency mode, and a half mode that uses the soft padding to muffle sound. This versatility allows you to choose the level of noise cancellation that suits your environment.
  • Comfortable Fit: The ear cups are padded with soft, memory foam-like material that sits around your ears, not on them. This design ensures a comfortable fit without causing pressure or discomfort.
  • Bluetooth and Wired Options: The headphones come with a USB-C charging cable and a 3.5mm aux cable, allowing you to use them wirelessly or wired. (Just remember that if you are using them wired, it is analog playback, and you can’t control the volume on the headphones or use the microphones.)

Performance and Usability

I’ve been using the Naztech AURA 360 for a bit now, and I have to say, they live up to what they promise on the box. The active noise-canceling feature is incredibly effective. The difference was immediate when I first put them on and activated the noise-canceling mode. The background noise faded away, leaving me a quiet, peaceful environment to enjoy my music or focus on my work.

I’ve tested these headphones with various audio content, from music and podcasts to movies and video calls. The sound quality is impressive, with deep bass, clear mids, and crisp highs. The active noise-canceling works well across different environments, making it easy to focus on the audio without distractions.

Battery Life

Battery life is always a concern with wireless headphones, but the Naztech AURA 360 doesn’t disappoint. With up to 24 hours of active noise-canceling, you can use these headphones all day without worrying about running out of power. When you need to recharge, the USB-C fast charging feature ensures you’re back up and running quickly. Just a couple of hours of charge will get those tunes flowing again. Remember, battery life depends on volume level and whether Active Noise Cancelling is on.

Pairing and Connectivity

One of the standout features of the Naztech AURA 360 is its ability to pair with two devices simultaneously. This is incredibly useful if you’re like me and constantly switching between your phone and computer. As I mentioned, pairing is straightforward: connect to one device, turn off its Bluetooth, and then pair with the second device. Once both are paired, you can easily switch between them, making it seamless to take calls on your phone while listening to music on your computer.

Real-World Usage Scenarios

In a busy office environment, the Naztech AURA 360 is a game-changer. The active noise-canceling feature effectively drowns out the background chatter, allowing you to focus on your work. The transparency mode is also handy when you need to have a quick conversation with a colleague without taking off your headphones.

If you commute by train or bus, you’ll appreciate the noise-canceling capabilities of these headphones. They do an excellent job of reducing the constant hum of the engine and the chatter of passengers. Plus, the long battery life means you won’t have to worry about them dying on you during your commute.

At home, the Naztech AURA 360 is perfect for blocking out household noises like the TV, kids playing, or even that pesky leaf blower outside. Whether you’re working from home or just trying to relax, these headphones create a peaceful environment.

Cons

Honestly, I thought the quality would be bad at the price point. Quite the opposite is true. The Naztech AURA 360 ANC headphones are quite reasonably priced (especially if you can get them on sale). Interestingly, they are currently more expensive on Amazon (currently listed around $90) than on the Naztech website which has them listed currently around $65.

Comparison with Competitors

There are many ANC headphones on the market. Given the Naztech AURA 360’s price point of between $65 and $90, I wanted to include two bigger brand names: Bose and Sony.

Bose QuietComfort 35 II

The Bose QuietComfort 35 II is a well-known competitor in the noise-canceling headphone market. While the Bose headphones offer excellent noise-canceling and sound quality, they come at a higher price point, currently listed on Amazon for $329! The Naztech AURA 360 provides comparable performance at a more affordable price, making it a great value option.

Sony WH-1000XM4

The Sony WH-1000XM4 is another top contender, known for its superior noise-canceling and sound quality. However, it also comes with a premium price tag ($348 on Amazon, but I did find this interesting deal for $255. The Naztech AURA 360 holds its own in terms of performance and offers a more budget-friendly alternative without compromising on key features.

Final Thoughts

Overall, the Naztech AURA 360 Active Noise-Canceling Headphones are a fantastic investment for anyone looking to escape the noise and enjoy high-quality audio. They offer a range of features that make them versatile and user-friendly, from effective noise-canceling to comfortable design and long battery life. For a price point under $100, these headphones provide excellent value and performance.
