This Mophie 3-in-1 Extendable Stand Charger has one really unique & helpful feature – Review

There are many, many charging solutions available for your iPhone, Apple Watch, and AirPods. Some of them even charge all three of these devices simultaneously. But when I got a briefing from Zagg and Mophie on the Mophie 3-in-1 Extendable Stand Charger, I realized that this particular charging stand would be perfect for my wife. Why? Because she precariously balanced a charging stand on top of some Tupperware when she used it to charge and use her iPhone in the kitchen. This drove me a bit up the wall because her solution was unstable and not very aesthetically pleasing. This has now changed, and it is all thanks to Mophie’s solution. (*Disclosure below.)

The Mophie 3-in-1 Extendable Stand Charger solves a variety of problems. For starters, it allows you to charge three Apple devices simultaneously. Remember, though, you need an Apple iPhone 12 or higher to take advantage of the MagSafe Charger. All three charging solutions involve wireless charging – for the iPhone, the Apple Watch, and AirPods. So, this charger is primarily for the Apple ecosystem (except the AirPods potentially). 

But the one thing that makes this charging solution unique from many others in the marketplace is the fact that the MagSafe portion for the iPhone is telescopic and can extend from 7.5″ in height to a whopping 16″. My wife was trying to solve this use case by stacking the previous charger on some Tupperware.

One of the advantages of using a MagSafe stand is that you can easily rotate your iPhone from Portrait to Landscape mode. This is convenient if you want to watch a movie in landscape or scroll through social media in portrait – you simply rotate your phone on the magnet.

I have seen other stands where you must supply your own Apple Watch charger. The nice thing about this Mophie 3-in-1 Extendable Stand is that the Apple Watch charger is built-in.

The compact design minimizes surface area usage while elevating your devices above desk clutter, a practical feature for an organized workspace. The base measures a little less than 4 inches wide by 5.75 inches deep, so it does not take up too much space on your desk or tabletop. The sturdy, weighted steel base ensures stability during use, providing a secure foundation for charging devices.

Pricing and final thoughts

The Mophie 3-in-1 Extendable Stand Charger is a bit of a premium solution. But you get an elegant design and look, sturdy construction, and essential core functionality of charging three devices. And yes, those have to be Apple devices, as I mentioned, so other accessories or watches may or may not work. If you are on a budget, this charging solution from Mophie might be a bit out of range.
